Job Description

Job Title: Collibra System Administrator

Location: Chicago IL (Hybrid)

Duration: 3 Months Contract

Interview: Video

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Collibra System Administrator to join their team! You will be a part of a critical enterprisewide digital transformation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining Collibra Data Governance Center environments integrating with AWS infrastructure and supporting containerized deployments. You will play a key role in the setup installation automation and operationalization of the tool.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administer and maintain Collibra environments including installation configuration patching and upgrades.
  • Integrate Collibra with AWS infrastructure including setting up required AWS services (EC2 RDS S3 IAM etc.).
  • Deploy and manage Collibra services using container technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Collibra deployments and updates.
  • Manage and configure users roles permissions and workflows within Collibra.
  • Monitor system health and performance identify issues and implement solutions for optimal performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with data governance development and cloud engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment with business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a Collibra System Administrator or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of Collibra Data Governance Center its architecture and its components.
  • Experience with AWS cloud services (EC2 RDS S3 IAM etc.).
  • Proficiency in container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins GitLab CI or similar.
  • Experience with automation and IaC tools (Terraform CloudFormation).
  • Solid knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Shell Python) for task automation.
  • Strong problemsolving skills attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills to interface effectively with various stakeholders
