Science Teacher Opportunity at a Thriving Secondary School in Sutton
We are delighted to partner with a highachieving secondary school in Sutton renowned for its strong commitment to science education and its supportive learning environment. They are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join their thriving Science department in a fulltime permanent position starting this January.
Position Overview
The successful candidate will play a key role in inspiring and nurturing a love of science in students across Key Stages 3 and 4. This role offers the chance to contribute to a collaborative and innovative science faculty within a school that values academic excellence and student wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging science lessons that align with the national curriculum and the schools commitment to inquirybased learning.
- Create a dynamic and inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity collaboration and a passion for scientific exploration.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback to support individual achievement.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Science department and across the school to enhance the learning experience.
- Remain current with pedagogical approaches and developments in science education.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelors degree or higher in a Sciencerelated field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Science at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 and 4).
