Job Description

AS OCU continues on a journey of substantial growth we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Engineerto come and join us based in Slough.

The Site Engineer will play a crucial role in the product development lifecycle from concept design to production. This role requires strong technical skills creative problemsolving abilities and a passion for innovation. The Design Engineer will work closely with crossfunctional teams to design and develop products that meet customer requirements and exceed industry standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product managers stakeholders and customers to understand project requirements goals and constraints.
  • Generate innovative design concepts and solutions that address user needs technical specifications and market trends.
  • Create sketches renderings and 3D models to visualize and communicate design concepts effectively.
  • Conduct engineering analysis and simulation studies to evaluate the performance reliability and manufacturability of design concepts.
  • Use CAD software and simulation tools to optimize designs for strength weight cost and other key factors.
  • Iterate on designs based on analysis results and stakeholder feedback to achieve optimal outcomes.

Skills & Experience:

Experience within a similar role

Strong understanding of Engineering Principles

Excellent Communication skills

Proficient in CAD software

Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
