We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Generalist. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting various human resource functions within the organization. This position requires a proactive approach to managing employee relations payroll administration benefits management and leave of absence processes. Job Responsibilities
- Manage employee relations issues providing conflict resolution and guidance to employees and management.
- Handle workers' compensation claims and coordinate with relevant authorities or thirdparty administrators.
- Facilitate leave of absence (LOA) processes ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Support recruitment efforts by collaborating with department heads to identify staffing needs and assisting with onboarding new employees.
- Maintain HR records and databases ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies procedures and initiatives enhancing workplace culture.
- Conduct employee training sessions and workshops as needed.
- Stay uptodate with employment laws and legislation affecting the organization.
- Nice to have: Oversee benefits administration including employee enrollment communication of benefit options and assistance with claims.
- Nice to have: Administer payroll processing ensuring accuracy and timeliness in collaboration with Paycor and resolve any payrollrelated inquiries.
Essential Qualifications
- High School Diploma required.
- Must be willing to come onsite 23 times per month and for emergencies.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in HR software and tools specifically in payroll systems such as Paycor.
- Knowledge of HR practices and employment legislation.
Desired Experience
- 1 to 5 years of experience in human resources or related field.
- Experience handling employee relations and resolving conflicts.
- Familiarity with payroll and benefits administration.
- Experience with leave of absence processes and workers' compensation.
