MEDIT is seeking a Regional Account Executive for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) to lead our sales efforts in the region. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in sales management, particularly within the dental or healthcare sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to drive high sales performance and will be responsible for meeting revenue targets across the MEA regions. This position will focus on building and nurturing strong relationships with regional dental professionals, dealers, distributors, industry partners, and Dental Service Organizations (DSOs).
Key Responsibilities
The Regional Account Executive will be tasked with driving growth and exceeding sales targets by identifying and securing new distributors. This role demands a proactive approach to establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with MEDIT’s partners and dealers. The executive will initiate and lead various projects aimed at achieving the company's sales and business objectives.
In addition, the candidate will be responsible for identifying key segments within the dental market. This will involve conducting market research and competitor analysis to inform and optimize sales strategies. Regular reporting on sales KPIs, forecasts, and market trends will be required, with insights presented to the team leader to facilitate decision-making and strategic planning.
Support for current distributors at local events is also a critical component of this role. The executive will assess market needs and leverage these insights to enhance brand recognition and expand MEDIT’s presence in the region.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field. A minimum of three years of sales experience in the dental or healthcare domain is essential, along with at least three years of experience managing B2B dealership sales. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills are crucial for success in this role, as is the ability to foster and maintain effective working relationships.
Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Arabic or French will be considered a significant advantage. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of professionalism and a commitment to achieving sales excellence in a competitive marketplace.
