Our client is a leading supplier of highquality furniture to the corporate and hospitality markets.
They are seeking a motivated and dynamic New Business Development sales professional to join their team. This role involves selling our clients full range of office and hospitality furniture as well as their metal fabrication products to various industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating leads building client relationships and managing the entire sales process. This position requires a selfstarter who is willing to travel extensively within South Africa and neighboring countries as needed.
Responsibilities
- Identify and target potential clients in the corporate hospitality electrical data brand rollout agriculture and telecoms industries.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients offering tailored solutions to meet their business needs.
- Conduct regular client visits presentations and product demonstrations.
- Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals and aftersales support.
- Collaborate with the internal team to ensure successful delivery and installation of products.
- Stay informed about industry trends products and competitors to remain competitive in the market.
- Attend trade shows exhibitions and networking events to promote the clients products and services.
Requirements
- A tertiary degree or diploma or proof of other tertiary education is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (proficiency in Excel is required) and CRM software.
- Proven experience in sales preferably in office furniture or related industries.
- Must have own car and a valid driver s license.
- Must be willing to travel extensively within South Africa and neighboring countries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
