Patient Volume:
Fac 1: IP Visits; 7 607; OP Visits; 28 521
Fac 2: IP Visits: 3580; OP Visits; 20601
Fac 3: IP Visits: 842; OP ED Visits; 12368
Admissions Required: Yes; 1720%
Specialty Backup/Support: Available with and easy transfer center process.
Duties:
Routine ER codes dont have a lot of trauma responsibilities.
ED responsible for codes at all sites except University Campus.
Required to Supervise APPs: Yes; at NE sites charts are cosigned by Physicians.
EMR: EPIC with Dragon
Other Info: Hospitalist are on site; Hospital Medicine always admit.
Travel lodging and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements:
NE License/IMLC
BC/BE (EM; Consider BC in FM: at least 10 yrs ED experience)
ACLS ATLS BLS PALS
Medicine Residency in the last 6 mos
Completion of an ACGME/AOA approved EM residency program (training)
Actively practicing as an EM Physician for the last 12 mos or completion of an Emergency.
