Job Description

NASC GLOBAL a leading HR Consulting and Management firm is excited to assist in the search for a dedicated Litigation Attorney to join a reputable firm in Grand Rapids MI. This is a great opportunity for an experienced attorney to handle civil litigation and family law cases in a collaborative and dynamic environment.


Job Overview:
As a Litigation Attorney you will be responsible for managing civil litigation and family law cases. Your role will involve conducting thorough legal research managing case files and collaborating with team members to deliver exceptional legal services.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle civil litigation and family law cases with a proven track record of success.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategies and client advising.
  • Manage case files ensuring all documentation is organized and uptodate.
  • Direct and collaborate with team members including paralegals and junior attorneys to foster a productive work environment.
  • Build and grow a legal practice within the firm by developing client relationships and networking.
  • Represent clients in court hearings mediations and negotiations advocating for their best interests.
  • Prepare and file legal documents including motions briefs and discovery requests with attention to detail.
  • Monitor and manage case timelines ensuring all deadlines are met efficiently.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior attorneys and support staff to enhance their professional development.
  • Stay updated on legal trends and changes in legislation that may impact practice areas.
  • Participate in community outreach and firmsponsored events to promote the firm s services and values.


Requirements

Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in civil litigation or family law.
  • Current admission to the State Bar of Michigan.
  • Strong research and writing skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and lead a team.
  • Techsavvy with a proactive approach.

Compensation:
Our client offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $80000 to $100000 plus bonus and signon bonus commensurate with your experience education and skill set. This reflects a strong commitment to attracting toptier talent for this essential role.
