Job Description
McLaren Medical Group Bay Region seeks a Locum Emergency Medicine physician to provide coverage from November 2024 to March 2025
JOB DETAILS:
Reason for Locum Coverage: Recruitment GapPatients per day: total 80 day 1.8 patients per hour for physicians
Staff Support: APP 12 hours full ED support with nursing and tech full radiology full lab
Current Exx in use: Cerner
Procedures/Skills Required:
Family Medicine Procedures/Skills: Adult Outpatient PediatricGeneral Outpatient Newborn resuscitation OrthopedicNondisplaced fractures Suturing of minor lacerations Incision & Drainage PsychiatricUncomplicated adult PsychiatricUncomplicated child/adolescent PsychiatricUncomplicated geriatric Diagnosis & management of common industrialrelated medical problems Ventilation managementestablishing & maintaining an airway; various modes of ventilation for up to 24 hrs w/o pulmonary consultation Evaluation & management of acute volume/BP issues Central Line Arterial Line EKG Interpretation Arthrocentesis Lumbar puncture Paracentesis EM related procedures
Expenses:
Car fuel mileage hotel is a xx150 cap (including taxes)
Does NOT reimburse Med Staff Fees
No lodging booked through 3rd party websites ie expedia kayak etc
McLaren is tax exempt and will not reimburse taxes on lodgingMalpractice must be included in rates
Orientation rate is 1/2 the hourly rate
Rates to Submit:
Orientation 1/2 of hourly rate for orientation and training
On call Daily 24hrs to include 9 hours of patient contact and night call
Holiday On call Daily 24hrs to include 9 hours of patient contact and night call when working on a holiday
Weekend call per 24 hours of call Sat and Sun to include 4 hours gratis
Call back after 9 hours of patient contact (inpatient coverage)
Holiday Call back after 9 hours of patient contact (inpatient coverage) when working a holiday
Site uses reverse billing provider must clock in/out using Kronos no timesheets will be approved
Requirement description : ALL MUST BE NOTATED AT TIME OF NAME CLEAR
- Board Certified (No BE) Required
- MI License Required at time of clear no exceptions not accepting IMLC
- BLS Required
- Provider must be local REQUIRED no exceptions
- Must have clean background for quick credentialing REQUIRED no exceptions
- Please submit rates at time of name clear Required will not send to client without rates
- Must be available for above dates Required
