Primarily responsible for:
- Facilitating getting the work done
- Guiding the team on use of Agile/Scrum practices
- Assessing team maturity and coaching the team to higher levels
- Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments
- Supporting and educating the Product Owner especially with respect to grooming and maintaining product back logs
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- ACTIVE or EXPIRED IRS MBI Clearance Required.
- Minimum Five (5) years of experience performing the Scrum Master role for a software development team.
- Good skills and knowledge of leadership facilitation situational awareness conflict resolution continual improvement empowerment and increasing transparency.
- Knowledge of Burndown techniques Retrospective formats handling bugs etc.
Summary of Essential Skills:
- Agile Methodology: Proficient understanding and experience in Agile practices including Scrum Kanban and SAFE.
- Facilitation Skills: Ability to facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Standups Sprint Planning Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives).
- Coaching and Mentoring: Skills to coach teams on Agile practices and principles and mentor team members in selforganization and crossfunctionality.
- Conflict Resolution: Capability to address and resolve team conflicts effectively.
- Stakeholder Management: Experience in working with stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of project goals.
- Metrics and Reporting: Ability to track team progress using relevant Agile metrics and communicate that to stakeholders.
