Key Technologies: Java Angular (focus on Angular 18) containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) GitLab and automated testing.
Skills and Experience Required:
1. Java: Handson experience with Java is crucial.
2. Angular: Angular 18 expertise is important. (Open to Angular 14 or 16)
3. Automated Testing: Practical knowledge of testing frameworks and tools is a requirement.
4. Containerization: Experience with containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes) is emphasized.
5. GitLab: Proficiency with GitLab particularly for CI/CD and DevOps.
Software Development Role Details:

Job Description
Lead Developer provides application software development services or technical support in situations of moderate complexity. May also be responsible for requirements gathering and BRD/SRD preparation. Has thorough knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle. Conducts reviews of the test Plan and test Data. Writes new programs of moderate complexity and scope working with basic application system designs and specifications utilizing BNY Mellons standard development methodology procedures and techniques. Designs and codes programs and creates test transactions and runs tests to find errors and revise programs. Prepares the final and detailed versions of system modification requirements ensures turnovers are done on time and correctly. Interfaces with architects to design code test and implement application programs. Conducts analysis of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems. Proposes innovative creative technology solutions. Contributes to the achievement of related teams objectives. Bachelors degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline or equivalent work experience required software development experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus should have thorough knowledge of the software development cycle. Required Skills/Experience:
Experience in software development required; should have thorough knowledge of the software development cycle. Experience designing and developing standard User Interfaces with Angular 18. Job holder must be knowledgeable about crossplatform interoperability (multiple platforms i.e. NT Intranet etc.) major tools in a toolkit for a specific platform and features of multiple toolkits.
Experience working in a team run by the Agile Methodology.
