Job Description
Position: RN Ambulatory Care
Start Date: 11/11/2024
Duration: 13 Weeks
Location: Midland MI 48670
Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Days5:00 AM 2:30 PM 9
Shift Notes: 0initially; may need to float to
Weekend Requirements: Every 4 weeks
OnCall Requirements: Sat & Sun daysor Fri & Sat nights

Travel Policy: Candidates Permanent Address (Facility will consider local candidates for one 13week contract afterwards they are to go perm 50 mile radius restriction)

This position has basic knowledge of operative procedures to assess and implement care for ambulatory surgery patients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- (30%)* Regularly assesses patients/clients needs and provides skilled nursing services as prescribed by the physicianauthorized plan of care and accepted standards of nursing practice.
- (30%)* Provides direct patient resident care including medication administration treatments call lights assisting with transfers responding to alarms etc.
- (20%)* Evaluates the effectiveness of the treatment plan and makes suggestions or participates in updating/revising the treatment plan in collaboration with other team members utilizing current information to improve patient care.
- (10%)* Processes physician/provider orders and performs physicianordered care accurately completely and promptly.
- (10%)* Follows up regarding medication changes and order clarifications.
- 2 Years of Experience Required
- Pre/PostOp Experience Required
- PACU Training Preferred
Profile Requirements:
- Work History
- Skills Checklist current to 1 year pertinent to the specialty
- 2 Supervisory Reference Forms taken within the last two years
- License/Certifications (MI LARA & BLS ACLS AHA)
- BLS (AHA)
- Michigan
- Active at the time of submission
