Job Description

MUST HAVE ALL COVID VACCINATION SERIES INCLUDING AT LEAST 1 BOOSTER MUST HAVE ACTIVE ALASKA LICENSE AT TIME OF SUBMISSION Accountabilities 1. Provide clinical services including working with providers clinic staff and management to ensure excellent quality of care and services efficient utilization of resources and the compliance with SEARHC standards. 2. Will provide leadership and direction to the clinic staff ensuring efficient operation of all aspects of the clinic to include the front desk and patient care to all patients. 3. Will maintain medication inventory and supplies not on the Warehouse PAR system. 4. Will ensure that the necessary quality control checks are done with the Point of Care tests. 5. Will clearly and correctly document all care and services provided in the clinic completing nurse duties professionally and in a timely manner. 6. Will oversee the opening and closing of the clinics. 7. Will clearly and correctly document all care and services provided completing nurse duties professionally and in a timely manner. 8. Will assist providers and other staff as needed anticipating the needs of these individuals to ensure efficient and quality patient care. 9. Will communicate effectively with other departments to be an effective resource for their patients providers and fellow clinic staff. Position Complexities Maintains skill sets annual competencies certifications and participates in inservices and educational programs within the Clinic hospital and/or community as assigned; completes all mandatory training; attends and participates in staff meetings; adheres to infection control policy and procedures. Maintains a clean and safe working environment including adequate supplies and upkeep of unit and equipment reporting any defective or missing equipment and safety hazards; refers unresolved problems with patients/coworkers/visitors to department manager or administrative manager for resolution; addresses employee concerns consistent with Human Resources Policy.Position Qualifications Education Education necessary to obtain RN License License and Certifications: Active unrestricted RN licensure Alaska licensure Basic Life Support certification Experience: 1 year acute care experience preferred 6 months addiction services experience preferred Knowledge Skills & Abilities:Knowledge of: Nursing process and the ability to apply this in the working environment Customer service principles Safety and infection control principlesSkilled in: Completing assessments anticipation of needs and specimen collection Use of equipment such as computers and medical equipment Effective oral and written communications skillsAbility to: Multitask and work independently in fast paced environment Teamplayer Willing to teach when appropriate Problemsolve and use critical thinking skills to develop and maintain good working relations with other staff and departments Willingness to ask for help when encountering a new or challenging situation

Shift: MF 5:30a2:30p with rotating saturdays
