This position has basic knowledge of operative procedures in order to assess and implement care for
ambulatory surgery patients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(30%)* Regularly assesses patient s/client s needs and provides skilled nursing services as prescribed by
the physician authorized plan of care and accepted standards of nursing practice.
(30%)* Provides direct patient resident care including medication administration treatments call lights
assisting with transfers responding to alarms etc.
(20%)* Evaluates effectiveness of treatment plan and makes suggestions or participates in
updating/revising the treatment plan in collaboration with other team members utilizing current information
to improve patient care.
(10%)* Processes physician/provider orders and performs physician ordered care accurately completely
and in a timely manner.
(10%)* Follows up regarding medication changes and order clarifications.
Requirement description :

- Pre/Post Op Experience Required
- PACU Training Preferred
Profile Requirements:- Work History
- Skills Checklist current to 1 year pertinent to the specialty
- 2 Supervisory Reference Forms taken within the last two years
- License/Certifications (MI LARA & BLS ACLS AHA)
- Candidates Permanent Address (Facility will consider local candidates for one 13 week contract afterwards they are to go perm 50 mile radius restriction)
