Job Description
Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center is looking for Locum Coverage CardiothoracicSurgeon starting ASAP! The preferred coverage includes clinic & OR 24hr call. Locum to Perm is also a preferred option.
- Coverage start date: Dec 1 2024 start
- Reason for Coverage: Cardiothoracic Surgery Coverage
- Practice Setting: Office/ Hospital/ OR/ Rounding
- Call Schedule: After office hours and weekends
- Trauma Level/Designation: n/a
- Number of Operating Rooms: 1
- Documentation System/EMR: Epic
- Patient Age Demographic: Adult 18
- Scope of Services Required: Adult Cardiac Surgery General Thoracic Surgery
- Aortic Surgery Procedures Required: Descending Aortic Aneurysms
- Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery Procedures Required: CABG Redo Coronary Revascularization(With or Without Heart Valve Surgery) Arterial Revascularization(Using Internal Mammary Arteries Radial Artery and Gastroepiploic Artery) Pericardial Window Tube Thoracostomy Thoracic aortic aneurysms
- Thoracic Endoscopy Procedures Required: Flexible and Rigid Bronchoscopy Thoracotomy Lung Resections and Pneumonectomy Chest Wall Resection and Reconstruction Mediastinal Surgery
- Vascular Surgery Procedures Required: Heart Valve Repair/Replacement Surgery Heart Valve Replacement Without Surgery (CoreValve System) Mitral Valve Repair
Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90 120 days; EMERGENCY TEMP PRIVS AVAILABILE FOR DEC 1 START
Travel Reimbursement Information:
- Lodging: BR50/night
- All other bookings approve for standard/economy rates
Requirement description : MUST notate ALL during the name clear
- Board Certification (American Board of Thoracic Surgery) REQUIRED
- Active VA license & DEA REQUIRED no exceptions
- BLS/ACLS REQUIRED
- Fellowship Training REQUIRED
