Responsibilities
- Develop and implement department goals plans and standards in alignment with the organizations objectives.
- Direct and evaluate departmental operations including patient care delivery service levels information technologies and compliance management.
- Oversee staffing activities including hiring orientation evaluations disciplinary actions and ongoing education initiatives.
- Prepare monitor and evaluate the departmental budget to ensure adherence to allocated funding and manage internal and external audits.
- Foster an environment that promotes professional growth and encourages the integration of evidencebased practices into clinical operations.
- Implement evidencebased practices to enhance patient care outcomes and maintain clinical excellence.

Requirements
- Master s degree and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
- Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan or compact licensure valid in Michigan.
- 10 years of experience as an RN.
- 5 years of experience as an RN in OB or NICU.
- 5 years of management experience in a clinical setting.
- Expertise in clinical administration NICU and OB/GYN care.
- Experience managing a unionized workforce preferred.
- Strong capabilities in staffing human resources and budget management.
- Proficiency in healthcare information technologies and clinical management.
