Job Description

  • Monitor and patrol hotel premises to prevent and detect signs of theft vandalism or other illegal activity.
  • Respond promptly to security alarms emergencies and guest inquiries.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections of hotel facilities ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Maintain a visible presence to deter potential security issues and provide assistance to guests.
  • Report and document all incidents accidents and safety violations accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.
  • Assist in training hotel staff on security protocols and emergency procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to guests ensuring a positive experience.

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in security or law enforcement preferred.
  • Valid security license for Victoria.
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
  • Basic first aid and CPR certification is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including nights weekends and holidays
