Job Description
In this role you will provide face to face GP medical care to detainees in HCAs Brisbane Immigration Detention Facility. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high standards of care for patients.
The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering compassionate evidencebased care and fostering a collaborative environment that promotes patient recovery and wellness.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide face to face general medical care including assessments diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care plans that address the health needs of patients
- Advocate for the needs of patients ensuring they receive appropriate resources and support throughout their treatment journey
Qualifications :
Qualifications
- Education: Medical qualification to enable registration with AHPRA or MCNZ
- GP Fellowship
- Current registration
Skills and Experience:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in General Practice.
- Clinical Skills: Expertise in evidencebased assessment and treatment including medication management and therapeutic interventions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with patients families and interdisciplinary teams.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to utilize data to inform clinical decisions and enhance service delivery.
- Cultural Competence: Understanding of and sensitivity to the cultural and social factors that impact health care.
