Job Title: Assembler
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Irvine CA 92614
Pay Rate: $22/hr on w2
Position Summary :
Seeking an Assembly Fitter for the TMSFMH Business unit. The candidate must have experience with fabricating components by analyzing requirements; collecting materials; and operating equipment.
Desired Skills And Responsibilities
Include the following (Other duties may be assigned):
Read engineering drawings and identify requirements for metal fabricated parts and assemblies.
Following manufacturing planning and executing tasks without difficulty.
Must be capable of using hand/power tools heavyduty equipment and measuring tools to fabricate desired products.
Must be able to correlate physical components with those on engineering drawings and assemble completed parts using kitted material.
Fabricates components to complete full assemblies while abiding to customers specifications.
Document actions by completing records and complying with regulations.
Maintain a safe work environment by following procedures.
Accomplish manufacturing and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Must be able to work and produce parts effectively with minimal supervision.
Position Requirements :
Education and/or Experience :
High school graduate
Technical school training a plus
5 years in manufacturing/aerospace a plus
Ability to work flexible hours to support overtime requirements
Able to lift 10 pounds consistently without assistance 50 pounds occasionally with assistance
Other Skills and Abilities :
Knowledge of general workshop tools and equipment pertaining to sheet metal and the aerospace industries
Must be able to understand and interpret technical drawings to military and aerospace specifications
Equipment used :
Shop tools and equipment pertaining to sheet metal and aerospace industries.
Personal/hand tools precision and nonprecision.
