Position title: Healthcare Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities and tasks:
- Under the supervision of the Customer Service Supervisor the Customer Service Representatives primary job function is to promote favorable relationships with members providers and health plans through the prompt accurate and courteous resolution of issues including but not limited to the following: authorization processing claim research coordinating translation services and Primary Care Provider changes.
- Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality.
Knowledge & experience required:
- 1 year of experience as a Customer Service Representative in a healthcare setting such as a hospital medical group health insurance or other RBO (bachelors degree considered in lieu of experience)
- Knowledge of medical terminology to include ICD10 codes CPT codes and HCPC codes
- Computer skills to include Excel Word Outlook and data entry systems
