Job Description
Summary:
We are seeking a detailoriented individual with warehouse clerk experience and proficiency in UPS data entry. The role requires a strong eye for detail and the ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
Schedule:
- Start Time: 7:00 AM
- Overtime may be required.
- Saturday work is rare but possible.
- Breaks: One 30minute lunch break one 15minute morning break and one 15minute afternoon break.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general labor tasks in a warehouse setting including unboxing copiers and parts preparing them for movement within the shop.
- Engage in physical activities such as bending twisting pushing and pulling.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs is required with team assistance provided for items over 50 lbs.
- Ensure proper handling of various equipment and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
- Operate powered and nonpowered material handling equipment (training will be provided).
- Work both indoors and outdoors including inside trailers.
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently meeting daily deadlines.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Must be able to follow directions manage time effectively and complete tasks within established timelines.
- Strong team player with the ability to interact and collaborate with fellow workers.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures noise levels and exposure to chemicals solvents and cleaners.
- Must be open to crosstraining and demonstrate a commitment to good attendance and work performance.
Work Conditions:
- The warehouse may not be fully climatecontrolled and the position involves moving in and out of trailers.
- Frequent stooping bending and kneeling are required to service equipment at floor level.
- Regular exposure to conditions that may result in minor cuts or burns.
- Physical effort required for lifting heavy objects and moving items on wheels.
Dress Code:
- Sneakers are required.
- No lettering on shirts or sweatshirts.
- Jeans are acceptable; no sweatpants or stretch pants.
Shift Timings:
- 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
- Temp to engage role with potential for further opportunities.
Financial Responsibility:
- Handle equipment valued between $1 and $150000.
