Job Description
Experience Requirements:
Proven experience as a System Administrator in a DoD or similarly regulated environment. Strong experience with VMware and virtualization technologies. Strong experience with Windows Server administration. Indepth knowledge of networking protocols and system security best practices. Experience managing Active Directory Group Policies and user permissions. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server administration and management. Familiarity with SharePoint and Jira for project collaboration. Experience with system patching and update management. Understanding of DoD compliance requirements and security standards. Soft Skills: Strong problemsolving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Detailoriented with strong organizational skills. Certifications Required: CompTIA Security Certifications (optional but preferred): Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate VMware Certified Professional (VCP) Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
Essential Requirements: US Citizenship is required. Active Secret
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Job Duties
Our programs support multiple Federal agencies the Department of Defense and often focused on the space initiatives of our government customers. Install configure and maintain Windows Server environments including Active Directory and Group Policy management. Manage and optimize VMware virtualization technologies. Implement and maintain system security protocols in accordance with DoD standards. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues. Perform system patching and updates to ensure compliance and security. Administer and support SharePoint and Jira for project management and collaboration. Document system configurations procedures and security policies. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to enhance system functionality and security. Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in system administration.
