What you will do: Inspectors are responsible for conducting routine inspections testing service and preventative maintenance on Sprinkler and Suppression life safety product lines. How you will do it* Assisting our customers to keep their buildings and occupants safe and compliant by inspecting and testing fire sprinkler systems and associated devices to make sure they are fully functional and operational.* Complete Inspection reports and documents with proper coding through communication devices such as laptop computers or smart phones.* Follow and maintain a highly structured inspection schedule.* Input retrieve and archive inspection documents* Complete assigned inspections on time* Perform duties with the safety of yourself and your colleagues and customers in mind 100% of the time* Perform other duties as assigned. What we look for REQUIRED* Texas RMEI or * NICET II in Water Based Systems. High School Diploma or equivalent required* Demonstrate a high level of customer service* Able to work well with others* Selfstarter who can eventually work with little to no supervision* Strong organizational skills positive attitude and an ability to learn quickly* Basic computer skills Microsoft (Excel Word Outlook) along with SmartPhone skills * Able to follow verbal and written instructions* Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50 lbs.* Must be able to climb ladders and willing to work with scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet. Understanding this may include working within ducts crawl spaces above ceilings etc. * Able to work flexible hours including alternate shifts or weekends to meet customer requirements* Able to adhere to implement and always follow safety guidelines and procedures* Desire to take and then successfully complete the Inspector Entr e Course (Electrical or Sprinkler) and OSHA requirements provided by company training* Possess a valid drivers license and driving record that meets company requirements* Able to pass a preemployment background and drug test * Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints diagrams and operational/product manuals Experience with hand tools and barcode scanners.
