Job Description

PennDOT seeks an Asset Manager with at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Requirements:

***This requisition requires a virtual interview via Microsoft teams.

***Start date for this position is as soon aspossible pending a compliant PATCH.***

***This requisitions current PO is fundedthrough 6/30/25 so use that date in the RTR. Contract end date is dependent onthe final schedule and projected needs. Historically additional funding shouldthen last a year and occur from 7/1/256/30/26.***

***This position is remote for now but in thefuture could be hybrid (onsite at the 5th floor of The Keystone Building (400 North Street Harrisburg PA 17120). There are times whereonsite workmeetings are necessary so candidate should be with an hour commuteto Harrisburg. A lot of training will go into this position so management doesn t want to select someone that travel will become an issue for.***

***The candidate must physically report to the5th floor of The Keystone Building in order for first day processing possible badging (this may take a fewdays for completion) and to pick up commonwealthissued equipment.***

***This position is 40 hours per week.***

Skills:

ITIL Foundation Certification

Minimumof 24 years experience with BMC Remedy (version 20.02) or equivalent ITSMtool

Strongworking knowledge of the CMDB and Asset Management methodology tools terminologyand industry best practices

Excellentcommunication skills listening verbal and written including meetingmanagement and facilitation.

Excellentorganization skills with proven ability to manage multiple assignments andpriorities successfully delivering with high quality.

Excellentcustomer service skills servicing and interfacing with individuals across IT(customers) in different roles

Proficient using all Microsoft applications(Word Excel Outlook and Teams)


Description of Duties:

Serveas the backup Asset Manager.

Developsand implements processes and procedures for tracking and analyzing softwarehardware and equipment through the lifecycle.

Providesday to day operational & maintenance support of production issuestroubleshooting/debugging and resolving of issues related to Asset Managementmodule in Remedy and Service Now.

Conductsannual inventory audit and develops processes and procedures for consistency.

Performsbulk uploads of asset data.

Identifiesand performs audits on asset data.

Developsand maintains asset related foundation data.

Developsasset reports for users and management.

Createsuser accounts site information hardware and product categorizations andsupport groups.

Participatesin user acceptance testing.

Managesfixed and floating licensing for Asset Management Module.

Createsend user documentation.

Developsand conducts training.
