Job role: Anaplan Model Builder
Duration: Contract to Hire
Location: Remote Occasional travel may be required for key deliverables. The client has locations in San Francisco as well as New York
Job Description:
Our client is dedicated to investing in and operating sustainable infrastructure assets. They are in the early stages of a multiphase Anaplan implementation and are seeking an experienced Anaplan Model Builder to support their operations. They are looking for a skilled Anaplan Model Builder to join their team. They currently have a Solution Architect (constant) who is working for them 1015 hours a week the client plans on getting rid of this resource and they dont have anyone else inhouse who knows anything about Anaplan. This position will be pivotal in assisting with model building as they transition from phase one of their implementation. The ideal candidate will possess strong investment accounting and financial experience and be able to collaborate with the internal team to enhance the use of Anaplan in their operations. The client has a very complex environment because they not only are an investment in infrastructure assets but they also run the operations as well. They use Anaplan for model building and reporting but also run Power BI and Tableau reports (nice to have).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in building and maintaining Anaplan models to support business operations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Provide guidance and expertise in financial modeling and analysis.
- Be the clients go to Anaplan resource to assist with model building optimization reporting and Anaplan best practices.
Must Haves:
- 5 years of Anaplan modeling building experience; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in investment accounting or finance.
- SQL and BIbased experience in Anaplan
- Ability to work with crossfunctional teams
Nice to Haves:
- Previous exposure to data integration processes is to nicetohave.
- Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is preferred.
- Familiarity with Tableau and Power BI for report development.
