Job Description
Title: Sr. Data Integration Developer
Location: 100% Remote
We are seeking a data integration developer with a proven technical expertise to join our clients EQRS (End Stage Renal Disease Quality Reporting System) team. This Data Integration Developer will support Agile Application Development technologies and capabilities in the areas of software development integration and test of software applications and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be committed to collaborative problem solving design patterns coding standards and quality products are important. In addition this his Developer needs to have a good foundation in SQL and Stored Procedures. Informatica PowerCenter would be considered a plus.
This position is responsible for analysis design development and implementation of data integration solutions for internal company use. This position also provides technical leadership on assigned projects and tasks as well as provides mentorship to developers. Duties will include the following:
- Provide data integration programming / coding services.
- Focus on Project Planning and Estimation with an understanding of business requirements of source data systems and elements (10%).
- Perform data analysis to obtain a good understanding of data availability relationships and nuances for consideration of ETL solution design (20%).
- Work on system design and testing of ETL code and reports based upon requirement specifications (25%).
- Software development configuration and customization by supporting and troubleshooting performance and related issues (30%).
- Provide pre/post implementation support by designing and evaluating new data interchange formats; improving physical design; rewriting data policy standards and procedures (10%).
- Focus on other duties as assigned. (5%).
Required Skills and Expertise:
- 68 years of Data Integration Development experience.
- Bachelors Degree.
- 4 years of experience in containerized development using Docker & Python and hosted within a Kubernetes cluster.
- Advanced level SQL Syntax expertise.
- Good foundation in SQL and Stored Procedures
- Experience providing frequent and comprehensive status updates
- Experience with Jira Confluence and Bit Bucket.
- Experience with deep data analysis.
- Skilled with testing of ETL code and reports based upon requirement specifications.
- Excellent conceptual and critical thinking capabilities.
- Must be selfdirected and selfmotivated with the ability to take charge or play a supporting role.
- Needs to have strong writing and verbal communications skills.
- Should be a critical thinker and possess strong problemsolving skills.
- Flexible with working hours and have the ability to provide afterhours support.
Desired Skills and Expertise:
- 4 years of Informatica PowerCenter experience.
- Experience working with Java.
