Job Description
Title: Container Engineer
Location: Pennington NJ
Job Description:
- The Application Solutions and Engineering team is looking for a Container Engineer.
- The Container Engineer role will be responsible for the Design and Operational Requirements in moving applications to a Container Platform notably Openshift.
- Container Engineer will interface with Development Architecture and Container Platform Teams to analyze requirements and support Container onboarding for mission critical applications.
Primary Skill Redhat Openshift experience
Required Skills:
- Experience with the Linux Operating System (configurations and parameters)
- Cloud Architecture with integration of Microservice Development
- Container Image development/configuration
- Minimum of Bachelors Degree (Computer Science or Information Systems Related) 5 years of field experience or Masters Degree equivalent 3 years field experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Excellent written verbal communication skills
- Experience with spreadsheet & design toolsets (Excel; Visio; Sharepoint; Confluence)
- Technical aptitude
- Comfortable participating in/driving technical project discussions
- requirements analysis
- Triage/troubleshooting skillset.
