Role Description
Job Title: CyberArk Senior Systems Engineer
Location: Hybrid (Onsite twice per week in Washington DC)
Initial 1week needs to be onsite as to help you with the onboarding badging
Role Overview:
We are seeking a CyberArk Senior Systems Engineer to lead the implementation and maintenance of a cuttingedge Privileged Access Management (PAM) solution. The role will focus on enhancing the security posture through close collaboration with external stakeholders ensuring seamless integration and operation across development testing and production environments.
The engineer will manage roles safes software updates and generate reports to ensure PAM tool efficiency. Additional responsibilities include security vulnerability management disaster recovery testing documentation of recovery plans and operating system patching for vault appliances. You will also assist in aligning reporting capabilities with compliance standards
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance in privileged access management and cyber security operations.
- Manage and support roles safes and access policies within the CyberArk environment.
- Deploy software updates perform security vulnerability mitigation and generate performance reports.
- Conduct disaster recovery testing and maintain documentation for recovery plans.
- Perform OS patching and updates for CyberArk vault appliances.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to enhance and maintain security protocols.
- Develop and implement change management strategies in alignment with organizational processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent with 18 years of relevant experience OR a masters degree with 16 years OR a Ph.D. with 13 years. In lieu of a degree 20 years of related experience will be considered.
- CyberArk Sentry Certification is required.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in business solutions engineering including architectural design engineering and proofofconcept development.
- At least 5 years of experience in server administration with Windows Server 2019 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8.
- 3 years of CyberArk experience in a design architect role including disaster recovery planning and highavailability system administration.
Preferred Skills:
- CyberArk and SailPoint Integration: Proven experience in integrating CyberArk with SailPoint for enhanced identity governance.
- Advanced Active Directory Knowledge: Expertise in account management Group Policy AD Schema PKI and automation via PowerShell.
- Database Management Experience: Proficiency with SQL Server 2019 including backups indexing integrity checks and troubleshooting. Familiarity with data modelling and interpreting ERDs.
- CyberArk Configuration Expertise: Experience integrating CyberArk with diverse systems including networks cloud services applications and storage solutions.
