Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic plans for growth and improvement.
Manage financial aspects, including budgeting, revenue generation, and expense control.
Develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance visibility and attract new clients.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to maintain quality and cost-effectiveness.
Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear and empathetic information.
Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
familiarity with the veterinary or healthcare industry is beneficial.
Operational Management:

Oversee daily operations of the practice, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Financial Management:

Monitor budgets, expenses, and financial performance, ensuring the practice operates within financial constraints.
Prepare financial reports and analyze financial data to inform strategic decision-making.
Compliance and Regulations:

Ensure the practice complies with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Manage audits and inspections, addressing any compliance issues that arise.
Staff Management:

Recruit, train, and supervise staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Conduct performance evaluations and implement staff development initiatives.
Patient/Client Relations:

Enhance the patient or client experience by implementing feedback mechanisms and addressing concerns.
Develop strategies to improve patient or client engagement and retention.
Strategic Planning:

Collaborate with leadership to set goals and develop long-term strategies for practice growth and improvement.
Identify opportunities for service expansion or diversification.
Marketing and Business Development:

Implement marketing strategies to promote the practice and attract new clients or patients.
Build relationships with referral sources and other stakeholders to enhance practice visibility.


Desired candidate profile

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably in a veterinary or healthcare setting.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities to motivate and guide staff.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Financial Acumen: Understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting and financial reporting.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with staff, clients, and stakeholders.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Educational Background:

Previous experience in a management or supervisory role within a professional practice, with a proven track record of operational success.
