Job Description
Position: Senior IO Sensor Validation engineer
Location: Sunnyvale CA (100% onsite)
Exp: 8 15 years
F2F is compulsory after initial web interviews
Job Description
- Characterize and validate touch proximity sensor ambient light sensor Inertial measurement unit for smart wearables.
- Optimize sensor performance based on validation result
- Documenting and presenting test results to engineering teams
- Working with crossfunctional teams to assure that sufficient and accurate testing is implemented
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
- 5 years of Electrical System Verification for consumer electronics
- Experience with the definition of validation test plans and writing detailed electrical validation SOPs.
- Experience owning significant areas of electrical validation
- Experience executing electrical validation on the bench. Familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes DMM eload power supply power analyzer spectrum analyzer signal generator and temp chamber.
- Understanding of board schematics and board layout. Ability to find proper probe locations and identify potential points of failure in the DUT.
- Working knowledge of Python and LabVIEW for data processing and automation.
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Science or equivalent experience
- A team player with strong communication skills. A selfmotivated person who thrives in a crossfunctional and fastpaced environment.
Desired Skills:
- Programming skills to develop software/firmware/scripts for validation characterization and prototyping (e.g. Python)
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. MATLAB R etc.)
- Experience with firmware development (C/C) is a plus
- Knowledge in I2C/SMBus UART SPI USB Network stack is a plus
- Ability to read schematics
- Experience with code management tools like Git
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
