Job Description
Job Title: Software Analyst
Location: Albany NY (Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in requirements elicitation involving research and analysis of stakeholders business needs to translate them into verified and validated functional and nonfunctional requirements for development.
- Skilled in creating and maintaining software development documentation for effective communication of requirements including context diagrams textual use cases swim lane diagrams report specifications wireframes user interface specifications and nonfunctional requirements documentation.
- Experience in facilitating requirement workshops Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions and structured walkthroughs employing effective communication strategies to ensure clarity and comprehension of requirements.
- Background in developing test plans and cases managing defects alongside development teams and collaborating with users during User Acceptance Testing.
- Expertise in managing requirements throughout the Requirements Management Lifecycle including the development and implementation of a Requirements Management Plan Requirements Traceability establishing requirements baselines and overseeing requirements change control.
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) credential from the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA).
