Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission requires the services of 1 Business Analyst 2 hereafter referred to as Candidate(s) who meets the general qualifications of Business Analyst 2 Applications/Software Development and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission.
All work products resulting from the project shall be considered works made for hire and are the property of the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission and may include preselection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Candidates) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by Texas law. Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission will pay no fees for interviews or discussions which occur during the process of selecting a Candidate(s).

The Business Analyst Level II role has the responsibility to support the Project Management Office (PMO) and the Project Manager in effectively facilitating the execution of projects that may be in various phases and stages within the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to include initiation planning execution monitoring and controlling and closing of projects. The processes and tools used to execute each phase must follow established TABC standards for project management within the PMO. This includes consistently applying the PMO standards for documentation and the use of metrics for the management of projects. May assign and supervise the work of others. Works under minimal supervision with considerable latitude for the use of
initiative and independent judgment.
