Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

Experience: Prior experience in a receptionist or administrative role with exposure to accounting functions preferred.

Accounting Knowledge: Familiarity with accounting principles and booking software

Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with clients and visitors professionally.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Guest Services
Welcoming Guests: Greet guests warmly and assist with check-in/check-out processes.
Information Provider: Offer information about local attractions, dining options, and events.
Reservations and Arrangements
Booking Services: Make reservations for restaurants, tours, transportation, and entertainment.
Event Planning: Assist guests in organizing special events, such as weddings or parties.
Problem Solving
Guest Inquiries: Address and resolve any guest complaints or special requests promptly.
Emergency Assistance: Provide support during emergencies, coordinating with security or medical services if needed.
Local Expertise
Recommendations: Offer personalized suggestions based on guest preferences, including hidden gems and local favorites.
Transportation Arrangements: Assist with arranging taxis, shuttles, or car rentals.
Administrative Duties
Record Keeping: Maintain records of guest preferences and feedback for future reference.
Coordination: Collaborate with other hotel departments (housekeeping, maintenance, etc.) to fulfill guest requests.
Upselling and Promotion
Service Promotion: Inform guests about hotel services and special packages to enhance their stay.
Loyalty Programs: Encourage enrollment in loyalty programs or special memberships.


Desired candidate profile

  • Experience: Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or a concierge role is highly desirable.

Skills
