Enterprise Solutions Architect
We are seeking a talented Solution Architect to join our growing Global Large Deals Architecture organization. In this role you will be an integral part of the client service team solutioning midsize to large multitower engagements across multiple business units within Communications Media and Technology (CMT) Organization.
The purpose of this role is to strategize define and drive the enterprise/functional /technology solution roadmap for client requirements within CMT industry. He or she must have a balanced mix of technical and business skills and will often work with an enterprise architect or technical architects for strategic direction. The main focus is on the technical decisions being made regarding the solution and how they impact the business outcomes.
You will craft topnotch solutions for our clients’ transformation and outsourcing requirements. You will define and drive businessIT solutions that use innovative business processes architectural and technical frameworks to provide client partners with viable high value solutions to complex business problems. This elite opportunity requires prior professional experience as a solution architect with a consistent track record of running and winning deals and more importantly a great passion for architecting complex IT solutions.

Large Deals : Global Solution Architect – Communications Media Technology (CMT)
•Drive Solutioning for complex large deals (>35m USD) involving multiple service lines and technical disciplines as part of RFXs (RFI RFP RFQ others) and informal deal processes.
•Work closely with clients intermediaries and internal Cognizant technical domain authorities to build high impact solutions
•Define solution vision and direction building on commonalities and benefits across lines of business and technologies
•Good track record of winning large deals
Anchor solution and strategy discussions with CxOs and Business Leaders
•Lead a multifunctional team of solution architects across their respective domains.
•Envision a transformation roadmap that aligns with the strategic and tactical direction of the partner client
•Drive the translation of complex business initiatives into creative and innovate businesstechnology solutions and ensure consistency across traditional solution boundaries
•Work with Business Stakeholders and Project Managers to understand inefficiencies in clients’ existing business processes and applications and recommend solutions
•Coordination with all stakeholders (sales solutions operations change management pricing transition facilities et al) to ensure timely and highquality proposal & response submission to clients
•Lead and contribute towards the design development and implementation of winning technical estimation and solutions for customers
•Creation and maintain effective knowledge management system to support all the solutioning phase of the deal lifecycle
•Design technology solution that aligns with the larger engagement model across towers and jointly build engagement level transformation themes
Required Capabilities/Skills /Years of Experience
•BTech/MTech in computer science or equivalent experience or MBA in Technology
•Experience in technical delivery sales and business development
•Good knowledge of technology areas like Cloud IoT Platforms Analytics AI/ML and Gen AI
•TierI professional services background
•18 years’ experience in a IT Service Delivery/Consulting and Enterprise Solutions Architect role with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in at least two of the following: Digital Transformation M&A / Large outsourcing Applications Development & Modernization Cloud Transformation Applications/Infrastructure Architecture Data Architecture Systems Integration
•Experience working with clients in at least one of the following business domains : Communications (Telcos CSPs DSPs Cable) Media and Education HiTech /Platform/SaaS cos
•Proven experience planning designing and implementing large scale businessIT solutions.
•Ability to present complex delivery and technical concepts to the clients during whiteboarding and orals sessions
•Technology domain expertise and understanding of the various functions and regulations governing industry in complex engagements
•Handson experience with responding to complex RFP RFI Pricing Estimation and SOW proposal.
•Experience in managing DevSecOps / Agile delivery would be a plus
•Deep understanding of industry trends concepts opportunities threats & constraints
•Ability to operate with ambiguity and program manage the solution build process
•Extraordinary communication and relationship building skills.
•Strong leadership skills decisionmaking and problem solving abilities.
