Job Description
Work Wise Healthcare Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at a Med Surg unit in Round Rock Texas.
As a Registered Nurse you will provide direct patient care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver highquality and individualized care to patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assess plan implement and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor and document patients progress and report any changes in condition to the physician
- Educate patients and their families on their conditions and treatment plans
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Provide emotional support and compassionate care to patients and their families
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas
- Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg experience
- BLS certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
- Strong critical thinking and problemsolving skills
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
Contract Details:
This is a fulltime 12week contract position with the possibility of extension. The Registered Nurse will work 3640 hours per week with rotating shifts including days evenings and weekends.
