Job Description
Our client is a leading provider in the live casino industry ensuring an unparalleled gaming experience for their customers. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced System Administrator to join their dynamic team and maintain the seamless operation of their 24/7 live casino studio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the continuous reliable operation of our 24/7 live casino studio;
- Manage and maintain Windows OS and Ubuntu servers;
- Administer and monitor Proxmox VE environments;
- Utilize MAAS (Metal as a Service) for hardware provisioning and management;
- Deploy and manage updates through WSUS (Windows Server Update Services);
- Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security;
- Implement and maintain system security and data protection measures;
- Provide technical support and resolve issues related to software hardware and networking;
- Collaborate with other IT staff to optimize and improve existing systems and processes;
- Prepare and maintain documentation for systems processes and procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a System Administrator Network Administrator or similar role;
- Strong knowledge and handson experience with Windows OS and Ubuntu;
- Proficiency in managing and maintaining Proxmox VE environments;
- Experience with MAAS for hardware provisioning nice to have;
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and practical experience in network management;
- Experience with WSUS for system updates nice to have;
- English language proficiency of at least B1 level;
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment (both remote and onsite as required);
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail;
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA Network Microsoft Certified System Administrator etc.);
- Familiarity with additional virtualization technologies and tools;
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.
