We are a growing organization looking to add a structural engineer with a PE license to our team of talented professionals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a thriving Special Inspection Agency that is gaining recognition in the industry and has the support of its wellestablished sister MEP design firm EP Engineering.
The position will provide valuable experience in multiple engineering disciplines and all aspects of construction. Previous experience in Special Inspections is not necessary. You will be trained by our current inspectors to gain expertise in many areas of inspection and then once ready you will be trusted to conduct these inspections on your own.

Essential Job Duties:
Conduct structural inspections (Welding Bolting Details ColdFormed Steel Concrete CastinPlace Underpinning Wall Panels Curtain Walls and Veneers Subsurface inspections Structural Stability etc.) on sites to review work in progress inspect materials and check the method of installation.
Observe field construction through inspecting installation documenting progress and coordinating with the field and design teams to meet building code requirements.
Manage and track noncompliance or incomplete items and verify completion through coordination with contractors vendors and consultants.
Keep information accessible by organizing and saving plans and documents updating field reports tracking logs code databases and project lists documenting installations and modifications.
Provide project status information by summarizing required actions remaining
for sign off in all inspection reports.
Help price the structural portions of new project proposals.
Qualification Requirements:
A bachelors degree in structural/civil engineering is required. Professional Engineering license in Structural/Civil Engineering is required.
Construction or inspections experience is NOT required for this role. You will be trained!

Physical Responsibilities:
Must have the ability to move around on an active construction site including climbing stairs or ladders and positioning oneself safely to assess installations testing materials and equipment.
