Mobile Health Team Inc. a staffing agency has an opening for an RNObstetrics. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.

Location: Atlantic IA 50022

Assignment Start Date: 10/25/2024

13 weeks Days 12hour shift 36 Hours guaranteed weekly

The Obstetrics Registered Nurse assesses and evaluates patient needs for and responses to care rendered. Applies sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions. Coordinates patient care activities based on established priorities including teaching rounding counseling and discharge planning and directs/delegates appropriately to members of the health care team. Communicates effectively and professionally with patients significant others and members of the health care team about the patients plan of care. Participates in performance improvement nursing quality nursing research activities and utilizes same in clinical practice. Demonstrates responsibility and accountability for nursing practice and the delivery of safe competent patient care.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Experience:

• Previous obstetrics experience preferred

Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:

• Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Iowa
• Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) is required upon completion of orientation
• ACLS and NRP are required
• AWHONN PALS TNCC CPI desired

EMR System: EPIC experience preferred

Shift: Days every third weekend; will rotate to the Med/Surg floor when needed but is primarily OB.
