Job Description
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Environmental or Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline (Masters Degree is a plus).
- 15 years of relevant post education experience in engineering discipline and prior water/wastewater design experience.
- Professional Engineer license required in the State of Ohio (multistate a plus).
- Highly proficient with water/wastewater design engineering principles practices processes and their applications to project related issues.
- Extensive experience in water treatment plant water pumping and distribution systems wastewater treatment plant or wastewater collection and pumping systems planning design and program/construction management; including project involvement in upgrades rehabilitation/reconstruction new design and construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of relevant water or wastewater codes regulations compliance practices and recordkeeping requirements.
- Welldeveloped critical thinking and problemsolving skills required to apply technical knowledge to reach conclusions from testing results data collation computations and statistical analysis and arriving at the most effective economical and logical solution.
- Must be flexible to a variety of schedules to meet business needs and able to prioritize responsibilities and quickly adapt to change in a pressure work environment.
- Strong clear and concise written and oral communication skills.
- Occasional travel may be required depending on projectspecific requirements.
