Job Description
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using scheduling tools (e.g. Microsoft Project Primavera etc.) to ensure effective tracking and monitoring of project progress.
- Collaborate with project managers stakeholders and team members to gather project requirements and set achievable timelines.
- Identify potential scheduling conflicts and risks proposing solutions to mitigate delays and ensure continuity of project timelines.
- Generate regular status reports progress updates and performance metrics for stakeholders facilitating transparency and informed decisionmaking.
- Assist in the allocation and levelling of resources ensuring optimal utilization of team members and equipment.
- Ensure that all scheduling practices comply with company policies and industry standards.
- Actively participate in project review meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of project scheduling processes.
Requirements
- NQF Level 6 in Project Management or equivalent.
- Relevant scheduling certification (e.g. Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project scheduling within specific industry.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery and management.
- Proficiency in project scheduling software (e.g. Microsoft Project Primavera or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
