Job Overview: The Solar Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning execution and the successful completion of solar energy projects. This role involves managing budgets schedules and resources to deliver highquality solar installations that meet client specifications and comply with industry standards. The Solar Project Manager works closely with crossfunctional teams including engineering procurement construction and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Responsibilities: 1. Project Planning and Execution:
Develop comprehensive project plans including timelines milestones and deliverables.
Coordinate with design engineering and procurement teams to finalize project details.
Oversee the installation process ensuring compliance with safety environmental and quality standards.
2. Budget and Resource Management:
Manage project budgets ensuring costeffectiveness and adherence to financial goals.
Allocate and optimize resources including personnel equipment and materials.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
3. Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients vendors and contractors.
Regularly update stakeholders on project status milestones and changes.
Address client concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
4. Team Leadership and Coordination:
Lead crossfunctional teams fostering collaboration and accountability.
Monitor performance providing guidance and support to ensure goals are met.
Ensure team members comply with project timelines and quality standards.
5. Regulatory Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure all project activities comply with local state and federal regulations.
Prepare and submit required documentation including permits and project reports.
Conduct postproject evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
6. Compliance & Safety:
Ensuring that all projects comply with local regulations industry standards and safety protocols.
Qualifications: - Professional Registration with SACPCMP as Pr.PM
- Bachelor's Degree: Electrical Engineering (or related field)
- 3 Years Solar Experience with managing commercial and industrial/utility projects.
