As part of the Transmission and Distribution Lines team you will work with a multidisciplinary group of specialized engineers technicians and support staff located across Canada. Our team plays a crucial role in supporting line projects for clients in both the heavy industry and private sectors in Canada and internationally.
With the increasing demand for decarbonizing heavy industries and the growth of renewable energy projects we are presented with exciting opportunities to contribute to the energy transition. Our experts are involved in all phases of these projects from feasibility studies to commissioning and asset management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team responsible for designing efficient and reliable transmission and distribution lines.
- Serve as a technical project leader or manager ensuring project timelines budgets and quality standards are met.
- Design and produce engineering documents for transmission and distribution line projects (ranging from 5 kV to 765 kV).
- Prepare models using PLSCADD and PLSPOLE.
- Design support structures and foundations for transmission and distribution lines.
- Supervise inspections of existing lines and prepare reports.
- Support and oversee the work of engineers technicians and drafters to ensure quality.
- Prepare proposals studies cost estimates reports and plans and specifications.

- Asset: Bilingualism (English and French).
