Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

Leading vessel surveys to assess condition, safety, and regulatory compliance
Performing detailed inspections, including hull and machinery assessments
Overseeing survey report preparation and document findings
Reviewing survey plans, inspection protocols, and maintenance schedules
Coordinating team activities to meet project standards and deadlines
Ideal candidates have 8-10 years of experience in vessel operations and maintenance, with expertise in marine surveys and a strong grasp of maritime regulations and industry standards. (mandatory)

The Chief Engineer plays a vital role in managing engineering projects and leading teams. Here are the key roles and responsibilities typically associated with this position:

1. Leadership and Management

  • Lead and mentor engineering teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Develop departmental goals and objectives aligned with the company’s strategic vision.

2. Project Oversight

  • Oversee the planning, design, and execution of engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
