Job Description
What you will be doing:
- Providing warm engaging service to all guests from the moment they arrive through to their departure
- Supervision and support of the operations of Club Millesime and Room Service ensuring service standards are followed with friendly and engaging attitude
- Ensure that all hotel and department policies and procedures are understood by ambassadors
- Greet and respond to requests for all VIP guests providing exceptional service at every step of the journey
- Maintain product knowledge of all menus and wine lists in order to advise and make recommendations to guests
- Proudly promote the hotel facilities looking for opportunities to enhance a guests stay through upselling
- Deliver personalised service with passion and professionalism
- Handle guest concerns and react quickly tracking and notifying proper areas to guarantee memorable moments for our guests
- Conduct prearrival communications providing local knowledge and advice
- Anticipate guests needs and promote various hotel services.
- Champion return guest recognition program driving personalised service in line with our Heartist principals
Qualifications :
Your experience and skills include:
- Previous experience in a similar role with confidence in all aspects of VIP club and Room Service operations
- Effective communication. time management and problem solving capabilities
- Prior experience working with Windows Microsoft Office Suite and Opera or a related PMS system. POS experience is an asset.
- Strong service skills with confidence in all aspects of service
- Availability across a variety of shifts including breakfast and night shifts across week day weekends and public holidays
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude towards all areas of work
- Strong interpersonal and problemsolving abilities and the ability to lead by example
- Valid South Australian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
- Full Australian working rights
- A true love and passion for creating genuine memorable guest experiences
