Job Description

The overall scope of the position is to maintain and execute the Digital Marketing and Ecommerce activities including but not limited to developing strategy content updates Social media management email marketing display and programmatic campaigns Metasearch and OTA optimization for the properties in Sub Saharan Africa

Reporting directly to the Regional Digital Director.

Based in Cape Town and Bilingual (English & French) will be a highly encouraged

Main responsibilities:

  • Build Digital yearly plan and budget for the hotels across Direct & Indirect channels
  • Contributing to Hotels Strategy working closely with key stakeholders from hotel marketing manager Cluster marketing manager or DOSM Sales Revenue PR F&B
  • Develop quarterly and yearly ecommerce and digital marketing plans covering all digital channels and levers (Direct and Indirect)
  • Plan and execute all digital marketing activities including but not limited to SEO/SEA emailing social media display Metasearch and influencers
  • Lead strategic communications campaigns on digital and social media platforms to increase engagement influence and reach
  • Ensure the listing and the quality of the content on google for every properties to maximize the visibility
  • Reporting and Analysis of Web Direct and Indirect performance
  • Measure and report the performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Ensure hotels presence across key Social platforms relevant to the source markets and enhance performance of social content accordingly
  • Monitor and assist in ensuring Rate parity together with the Revenue Director/Manager throughout all distribution channels
  • Manage Hotels online reputation
  • Review and monitor hotels competitor set on a regular basis and maintain competitiveness in terms of content quality and offer appeal
  • Identify trends and insights and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate endtoend customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Ensure Accor App visibility and usage uplift across the hotel
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate

Qualifications :

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in ECommerce / Digital Marketing in Hospitality or Retail
  • A degree in Hospitality Management or Marketing and Communications
  • Excellent English both verbal and written
  • Strong understanding of current digital marketing concepts strategy and best practice
  • Excellent Presentation and customer relationship skills
  • Energetic and passionate to work
  • Innovative approach to work
