Check all laundry machinery to ensure that all filters are cleaned regularly and press covers are in good condition; report any machine defects to Engineering.
Identify optimal costeffective use of the resources and educate the team on the same.
Keep a strict control and record of items sent for laundering by staff members
Assist Executive Housekeeper in assessing team members attendance and performance Ensure to keep abreast with new developments in the laundry industry trends in textiles and chemicals for textile care.
Ensure that the laundry equipment and area of work is maintained in a clear safe & hygienic manner and as per the standards.
Monitor and control consumption of power steam detergents and other chemicals and devise methods for optimal usage of these.
Supervise and direct the daily activities of all laundry staff and are responsible for the efficient and smooth operation of the department.
Coordinate with the Executive Housekeeper on the purchase & quality of room linen.
