Qualifications :
We are seeking an exceptional fulltime Kitchen Cold Larder Chef De Partie (Banquets)
- Must have several years of experience working in a highvolume 5 star Luxury Hotel Club food offering including open buffet; plated lunch & dinner and highend wedding plated food operations.
- Responsible for ordering and executing daily mise en place
- Demonstrated ability in creating healthy salads; sandwiches; dressings; hors doeuvres; vinaigrette and garnishes
- Previous experience preparing highend Black Tie canaps alongside SousChef and Executive Chef
- A team player with good communication skills
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Passion for food and quality products and ingredients
- Skilled in using commercialgrade kitchen equipment
- Supervision and preparation of all baked goods pastries and desserts in accordance with established recipes
- Maintain high levels of communication between SousChefs and Chef de Parties at all times in particular ensuring special messages/requests are dealt with promptly
- Operate in accordance to HACCP standards at all times
- Full Australian Work Rights are required.
- 38 Hours weekly rotating roster hourly pay rate per Restaurant Industry Award .
