Within the framework of the hotel strategy the L&LRM is in charge to implement and use RM methods processes tools within a cluster of 6 hotels in order to maximize the revenue. The current position is opened with a dedication for the Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio of our cluster:
Sofitel Luxembourg GrandDucal Sofitel Luxembourg Europe and Mama Shelter Luxembourg.
Main accountabilities:
- Responsible for optimizing the revenue and net contribution 3 hotels by deploying a shared global strategy in line with the groups guidelines.
- Responsible for the implementation of the RM methods in order to maximize the revenue in accordance with brands marketing country area hotel strategies and customers needs
- Help to implement and keep all the revenue management processes in place
- Assisting in the implementation and the follow up of the GMs strategy on a daily basis updates the planning quotes the groups and alerts the GMs when market deviates from the strategy
Main tasks :
Revenue Management Strategies:
- Responsible for the implementation of the overall revenue management strategies within the defined portfolio. Being a subject matter expert to the hotel teams making sure that the current global corporate strategy is being implemented.
- Ensure the optimal distribution of large volume requests (Business and Leisure Group) into the same hotels on the market place calculate availability and minimum rate for the requests by using group quotation
- Take daily decisions to optimize the hotel revenue. Decisions in terms of pricing inventory management group quotation distribution channels. Ensure that the recommendations are implemented in reservation and reception and that systems are updated accordingly.
- Delivers the service according to the contracted service agreements with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Creating hotel individual strategies with the goal of boosting revenue streams and maximizing KPI results. Using the C.A.D.R.E method to ensure that the hotel strategy is implemented accordingly. (Collection of reliable data analysis decision recommendation and evaluation.)
- Ensures that revenue management systems and tools are properly implemented and maintained. Ensures that planning and pricing is up to date for at least the next 405 days.
- Analyze the results on a monthly basis by day of week day type segments and by comparison with competitors (benchmark)
- Ensure rate parity with third parties and maximize distribution health
Competitor analysis:
- Analyses competitors in terms of content pricing and strategy. Analyses market share data with the goal to perform above the hotel market. Analyze the hotels results and performance (average rates occupancy rates RevPAR)
Forecast:
- Responsible for initiating short and longterm revenue forecasts identifying areas of opportunity and strategies to improve revenue and overall profitability.
- Elaborate the budget and contribute to build the vision by brand within the portfolio
- Ensure an accurate and dynamic forecast for the future dates (by room and revenue by segment and day) based on the RM referenced systems and a daily monitoring of the data (portfolio booking pickup events calendar events)
Reports & Meetings:
- Prepare Daily weekly and monthly reports and hold weekly and monthly meetings according to the individual service level of the hotel. Analyses special event periods with the goal to improve results for future events.
Support:
- Support the hotel Management to define the hotel strategy (in terms of business mix and pricing by season and type of day) for the future periods
- According to the individual service level agreement the RM supports and advices hotels on business and leisure rate collections as well as distribution contracts and group evaluations.
Communication:
- In charge to be the contact between the regional revenue manager other members of the commercial development team and the local teams. Coordinates the communication and ensures that information is clearly understood and instructions are applied accordingly.
- Ensure that a RM culture is spread in the hotel through the animation of weekly yield meetings
Qualifications :
Main requirements and assets :
- Minimum undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience in tourism industry
- At least between 24 years of experience in a similar position.
- Experience with Revenue Management System and Hotel systems Ideas G3 LightHouse Revenue Insight NOR1 Fornova and Opera Cloud.
