Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Service:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus answer questions and make recommendations regarding food and beverages.
- Take orders from guests and ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages.
- Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
Order Management:
- Input orders into the POS system accurately.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous manner.
Table Maintenance:
- Set up tables with appropriate settings before guests arrive.
- Clear tables after guests have finished dining.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of dining areas.
Billing and Payments:
- Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes.
- Accept payments from guests process credit card transactions and provide change as necessary.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other waitstaff kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in training new staff members as needed.
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Previous experience as a waitress or in a similar role is preferred.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy trays or items.
