Job Description
- Oversees the daily operations of the housekeeping department including staffing scheduling and task assignments.
- Ensures guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained according to established standards.
- Conducts regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to maintain quality control.
- Manages housekeeping staff including hiring training and performance evaluations.
- Develops and implements cleaning procedures and schedules.
- Controls inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment.
- Handles guest complaints and requests promptly and professionally.
- Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Prepares and manages the housekeeping department budget.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment.
